Part of the series "Desert island voyage". These series evoke a nostalgic view of travelling that the word voyage seems to evoke. Travelling as discovery, as facing the mysterious with awe.
In this case the travelling has been the process of creating the artworks itself. Working with the unpredictability of ink, being open to whatever comes up and responding to it quickly and intuitively to create imaginary maps, landscapes and flora. A travelling inwards to a place of creative reverie.
