A Bodhisattva is a bit like a Christian saint but way cooler.
A few years ago, as part of my Buddhist studies, I did a project on the Bodhisattva figure and I compared it to the warrior, the hero, the artist, the activist and the saint. In relation to the saint I quoted Graham Green who said that he imagined a saint would be to God as a "great character" is to the writer, someone who would do the unexpected.
